Using the sublimation transfer process, full colour images can be decorated directly to the Satin finish Standee units. The unique design of the Standee has a routed groove on the reverse side, this enables the base to be formed once printed. Creating the perfect finished free-standing product.

Sublimation photographic metal

In the first place this has been a long-established practice among quality-conscious professionals and photographers. Aluminium is one of the lightest and most versatile photographic materials. Metal prints also impress with their excellent print quality.

Sublimation

As a production technique is relatively simple. It’s the chemical process which separates it from any other form of digital printing. When sublimation inks are heated, they turn into a gas and form a permanent bond to 100% polyester fabric or items that have a polymer coating. The ink molecules revert to a solid state upon cooling. The result is a premium full colour, quality image that will not crack, peel or wash away from the substrate. Sublimation dyes are not opaque and therefore the printable items need to be white or a pastel colours.
